Biography
Marc Sadler was born in 1946 in Innsbrück (Austria), has French citizenship but has lived and worked in Milan for many years. Graduated from ENSAD (École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs) in Paris, he soon specialized in the use of plastics, contributing to the innovation of processing technologies. Sadler has in fact become famous as a designer of technical accessories for sport since the seventies, when he designs and patents a ski boot in thermoplastic material with a symmetrical hull, which achieved great success. His collaboration with sports companies is of great importance in his career: in addition to the long-term relationship with the Italian company Caber, which later became Lotto, in the 1990s he designed an innovative back protector for the motorcycle brand Dainese, which entered the permanent design collection of the MOMA in New York.
